Tymoshenko and Lutsenko won’t be MPs

The Higher Administrative Court of Ukraine refused to satisfy the appeal on registration of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former interior minister Yuriy Lutsenko as MPs candidates from the United Opposition.

The relevant decision of the court was read out by the presiding judge in this case Oleksandr Vedianinov. In particular, having considered the appeal against the decision of the Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeal on prohibiting the registration of Tymoshenko and Lutsenko, the court found no legal basis for its satisfaction.

Thus, the court upheld the previous court decision and found legal the resolution of the Central Election Commission on prohibiting registration of Tymoshenko and Lutsenko as MP candidates.
