Education and science, youth and sports minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk refutes rumors that universities enroll not those who received the highest score, but those who agreed to enrollment earlier.

"This is not true. If there are such facts - this is a gross violation, and we will react to it," the minister told a press conference at the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.

He lamented that some applicants dare mock at admission committees, refusing on the last day of enrollment to confirm whether they wish to study at the university. "Another thing is when a member of an admission committee phone to an applicant and he responds: "I'm at sea. And anyway, why do you call me? I can make my choice till 6 p.m.," the minister said.

Tabachnyk also promised that during September, the Ministry will carry out inspections, and if someone was enrolled or not enrolled unfairly, then such fact will be reacted at.
