President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych signed the decree on a temporary visa-free regime for citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.
"In order to develop and practically implement the principles of good-neighborly partnership between Ukraine and the Republic of Macedonia, to intensify bilateral contacts in all aspects of the relationship and to confirm the intention to continue cooperation in the sphere of liberalization of mutual trips of citizens, I decree:
1. To introduce visa-free entry to Ukraine and transit through Ukraine for citizens of the Republic of Macedonia starting from August 15, 2012 till March 15, 2013, if the duration of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 90 days.
2. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to take measures under this decree.
