President Viktor Yanukovych said that the grain harvest of this year will be 10-11 million tons smaller than it was last year, but nevertheless will enter the top three harvests for the last 20 years.
"Last year we gathered almost 57 million tons, this year there will be probably around 46 million tons. It is about 10-11 million tons lower than it was last year," Viktor Yanukovych said during the meeting with the activists of Sevastopil.
In addition, Yanukovych said that this year Ukraine has grain of higher quality than in 2011.
"This year, the financial result is not worse than it was last year due to the quality of grain," he said.
