The presidential envoy for children rights Yuri Pavlenko demands not to eliminate the service for children, he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The resolution of the Cabinet does not provide for availability of the services for children in the structure of state administration. We have appealed to the Prime Minister to amend the Cabinet's decision not to eliminate the service because it could negatively affect the process of children protection in foster families," he said.

Pavlenko also stressed that according to the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, such changes will be introduced. "The service will not be eliminated, but due to the attempt many workers have left," he said.
