Cabinet has approved an agreement on the abolition of fees for Polish visas for Ukrainian citizens.

The Cabinet has adopted a regulation from August 8, 2012 "On approval of agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Republic of Poland on the abolition of fees for the registration of national visas."

The corresponding regulation was published on the website of the Cabinet.

"To approve the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the government of the Republic of Poland on the abolition of fees for the registration of national visas signed on June 6, 2012 in Przemysl," the regulation said.

The foreign minister of Ukraine Konstantyn Hryshchenko and the foreign minister of the Republic of Poland Radoslaw Sikorski signed the agreement on the abolition of fees for national visas in Przemysl on June 6.

In 2011, Polish consular offices issued more than 570 thousand visas to citizens of Ukraine that is 117 thousand or 25.8% more than in 2010.
