From year to year, the government will increase government expenditure for defense contracts in accordance with the economic growth, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said during a visit to Shostka Impulse factory in Sumy region, ForUm learned from the Cabinet’s press office.
"Our task is to build up technical re-equipment of our armed forces, to develop new kinds of military products, which would strengthen the defense of our country. And accordingly - our defense companies would get a stable, long-term work," Azarov said. He stressed that in the current year, the state has increased defense order by one and a half time in comparison with 2011 year.
