Yanukovych signed the law on granting one-time financial assistance in case of death of military men

According to the law, a one-time financial assistance in the case of death, disability or partial disability without assessment of disability of military men, men liable to military service and reservists called up for training (or checking) and special assemblies or to serve in the military reserve, a payment guaranteed by the state, shall be paid to the persons entitled to receive it under the effective legislation.

One-time financial assistance is granted and paid in the case of: death of a military man during the execution of his military duties or as a result of illness associated with the performance of his military duties; death, which happened during the period of his military service or due to illness or accident that occurred during the period of his military service; death of a military man or a reservist called up for training (or checking) and special assemblies or to serve in the military reserve, which occurred during the execution of military duties or military service in the reserve; assessment of disability of a military man occurred due to injuries (concussion, trauma or injury), received by him during the execution of military duties or as a result of illness associated with the performance of his military duties, or the assessment of disability after discharge from military service, and so on.

The right to receive one-time financial assistance shall have the members of the family, parents and dependents of the deceased military man, man liable to military service or reservist.

One-time financial assistance is granted and paid at a rate of 500-fold living minimum wage established by law for the able-bodied persons in case of death of military man, man liable to military service or reservist in the cases specified in subparagraphs 1-3 paragraph 2 Article 16 of this law; the rate of 250-fold living minimum wage established by law for the able-bodied persons in case of assessment of disability group I to military men,; 200-fold living minimum wage established by law for the able-bodied persons in case of assessment of disability group II to military men; 150-fold living minimum wage established by law for the able-bodied persons in case of assessment of disability group III to military men.
