The work of national diplomats, legislators, economists and many other specialists in the direction of European integration does not stop for a day, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kluyiev said, commenting on the statement aired by the representative of the European Union about the completion of legal editing and coordination of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement on the Establishment of Free Trade Area, ForUm learned from the NSDCU press service.
"Ukraine is continuing European integration, not by paying a lip-service, but doing specific daily activities. Our specialists are carrying out meticulous and very difficult work, preparing the necessary documents," Kluyiev said.
He expressed the belief that this year Ukraine can expect more good news about the EU- Ukraine cooperation and integration.
The NSDCU secretary noted that the European integration for Ukraine is primarily a reform to achieve new quality standards, and therefore to achieve the modernization of economy, increase in investment opportunities, the development of competitive domestic production, job creation, decent working conditions and remuneration of labor, the output of Ukrainian goods in the EU markets, etc. "But we have to work very hard to implement all of our plans," Kluyiev said.
