The autonomous status of Crimea should be taken into account within the preparation of bills on amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, the chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Anatoly Mohyliov said during the round table "Constitutional and legal status of Autonomous Republic of Crimea", ForUm learned from the Council of Ministers of ARC press office.

The head of the Crimean government noted that due to various decrees and laws, since 1993, many of the powers of Crimea have been reduced. "This trend must be stopped. Most people consider themselves patriots of Crimea, so for us the autonomous status is extremely important and valuable. Therefore, the Crimea citizens and the special status of Crimea should be taken into account when preparing amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine," Mohyliov said.
