The discussion of the gas issues will be one of the important topics on the agenda of the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Ukraine, but no documents concerning this field will be signed, the aide to the head of the Russian state Yuri Ushakov told the journalists.
"Gas problems, of course, will be discussed (at the talks. - Ed.), but so far the documents (to be signed. - Ed.) are not prepared. I do not think they could be agreed within the remaining hours," he said.
Ushakov said that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will include the professionals directly involved in negotiations on the subject. The head of the Gazprom Russian gas company Alexey Miller is also expected to attend the meeting.
As reported, the interstate commission presided over by the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to be held on July 12, 2012.
