From the next year the import of vehicles with the ecological standard lower than Euro-3 will be banned. The corresponding draft bill has been registered today in the parliament with 248 votes in four, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to the draft bill, from January 1, 2013 all vehicles with the ecological standard lower than Euro-3 will be banned from import on the territory of Ukraine. With every following year the standards will increased. Hence, from January 1, 2014 the Customs Service will let in only vehicles of Euro-4 standard and higher, from January 1, 2016 - with Euro-5 standard and higher, and from January 1, 2018 - not lower than Euro-6.
