PR not to vote in favor of Lytvyn’s resignation

The Party of Regions faction will not vote in favor of putting on the agenda a draft resolution on the resignation of the speaker of the Parliament Volodymyr Lytvyn, the leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov said from the Parliament’s rostrum, ForUm correspondent reports.

He said that the Lytvyn's statement of resignation was emotional and irresponsible.

"I am confident that his decision was the result of an emotional approach. Hense, our faction believes considering this issue premature and will not vote in favor of it," Yefremov said.
