The Internal Ministry of Ukraine and the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the OSCE signed a memorandum of understanding, ForUm learned from the Internal Ministry press office.
 


The document was signed by internal minister of Ukraine Vitaliy Zakharchenko and the director of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Janez Lenarcic.

"The agreement will enhance the effectiveness of the struggle against hate crimes and attract international technical assistance to improve the skills of the Interior Ministry in this field," the statement informs.

Zakharchenko informed the OSCE that ensuring respect for human rights in the law enforcement agencies is now a top priority of the Internal Ministry activity.
