Lack of affordable housing for the fans has been a major point of criticism by the foreign media, the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) deputy head Oleksandr Puzanov said during the meeting of the KCSA, as ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, the major negative feedbacks in the foreign media include high prices of housing and taxi services.

In turn, the Head of Public Utilities Dmytro Novytskyi said that the main problem is the lack of the two-star hotels and hostels in capital despite the nine new hotels with 1636 total number of rooms built in 2011 and 2012.

"This issue is the first to be put on the table," he said.

According to Novytskyi, central hotels were filled almost by 100% during the European Football Championship 2012.
