7.2 thousand representatives of the Interior Ministry will ensure public order in the capital of Ukraine during the final match of Euro-2012, the head of the security measures during Euro 2012 of the Department of Public Safety Internal Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Matveytsov said, as ForUm reports.
"This is the maximum number of our staff we were able to use. The work will be carried out in the shift operation, involving mounted police and dog handlers. The explosion study of NSK "Olympic" has already been examined this night," Matveytsov said.
According to him, in spite of big number of foreign fans, expected to attend the stadium, - 11 thousand Spanish and 5000 Italian fans - our law-enforcement agencies do not expect any problems with football fans.
