The first taxpayer service center in Kyiv was opened under the State Tax Inspection in Svyatoshynsky district in Kyiv.

According to the chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (STSU) Oleksandr Klymenko, this is the first service center in the capital, but there will be 12 such centers in the near future. Currently, more than 300 centers work throughout Ukraine. Klymenko said that soon there will be 486 centers in Ukraine.

In addition, he stressed that "only positive feedback and no negative" are received concerning the work of the service centers. According to Klymenko, the Tax Service is being restructured from the fiscal authority to the service agency and the opening of such centers is "a striking confirmation of the fact that this is not the slogans but actions."

The head of the Tax Service in Kyiv Iryna Nosachova fully agrees with Klymenko, saying that the tax service "begins to serve the people."

As ForUm correspondent reports, the new center, having the total area of 400 square meters, comprises three rooms: the first is for receiving reports and incoming correspondence, the second is for issuing certificates and permits, and the third is for servicing the tax payers.
In addition, the center is equipped with the electronic queue system. There is also a children's room, recreation room and a cafe.
