The Kyiv fan zone was added 150 meters towards the Bessarabka Square, the deputy head of the Kyiv State City Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The Fan zone was added 150 meters so now about extra 20 thousand people can visit the fan zone," he said.
Moreover, according to Holubchenko, while extending the fan zone, the tent city of the Yulia Tymoshenko’s supporters was not touched. The fences were put so there is a distance between the tent city area and the fan zone.
In turn, the overseer of the Kyiv official fan zone Vilent Matveev informed that the additional area already has water supply and all the necessary sanitary conveniences.
Since the beginning of Euro 2012, 1.2 million have already visited the fan zone in Kyiv.
