The Liberty Avenue territory, the fan zone place in Lviv, will be restored at the expense of UEFA, ForUm learned from Lviv media center-2012.
"The expert commission will examine the area and make a list of required works after the disassembling of the fan zone. The Liberty Avenue will be completely restored," the department director of Euro-2012 Oleg Zasadnyi said.
"As soon as all events are finished in the fan zone, and it will happen on July 1, the fan zone will be dissembled. The process will take about a week. The expert commission will make an assessment of the necessary works and UEFA will finance this works. The budget provides funds for the fan zone restoration, and the final amount and losses will be known after the fan zone is dissembled," Zasadnyi said.
UEFA will compensate costs for the re-landscaping, renewal of street tiles, installation of new benches and other works if necessary.
