The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov opened the second perinatal center in the Dnipropetrivsk region within the framework of the National Project "New Life - new quality of mother and children protection." Thus, the system of perinatal care in the Dnipropetrivsk region is completed.

Azarov cut the symbolical ribbon at the entrance to the new perinatal center.
"This is the sixth perinatal center opened in more than one year in Ukraine under the National Program. The opening of such centers is aimed at significant reduction in child mortality at birth. I think we can improve the current situation," Azarov said.

On behalf of the government, Azarov presented the new center with a videolaryngoscope.

The Prime Minister also said that one of the purposes of his visit to Dnipropetrivsk region is to find out the opinion of people, especially of health workers, on the health reform implementation in the region.

"We are very concerned about this issue. I appeal to the doctors: are you satisfied with the current state of medicine? "- Azarov asked the health workers, gathered in front of the perinatal center.

The Prime Minister called the physicians to raise their hands. Looking at the reaction, Azarov asked: "No one is satisfied?"

"The reform should be implemented for people to live better. It is a very important task," he stressed.
