Ukrainian forward Andriy Voronin believes that his team could go the way of Greece, which, thanks to the victory in the final group match, has secured a ticket to the quarterfinals.
"This is football. Everything can happen. Russia needed only one point to go to the quarterfinals and they failed to get it. However, the Greeks needed victory only and they have achieved this result and went to playoffs. In fact, now we have the same situation: we have to beat England and only then we will get out in the quarterfinals. Therefore, we will try to do everything possible to take over the Englishmen," Voronin said.
"The most important thing is to be morally prepared for the match against England. This is probably the most important game for us on the group stage. We have nothing to lose. We just need to win and that’s all. We should hurl all effort into the ongoing fight," he stressed.
