The company "Baker Tilly Ukraine", which has won the tender to assess the value of the Ukrainian gas transport system, will announce the results by August 1, Naftogaz official Evgeniy Bakulin informed.
"We have chosen an international appraiser, and we do not interfere with its methods. We are interested in unbiased and real evaluation," the official said.
Bakulin also expressed a doubt that the evaluation results would be announced before the next session of the Ukrainian-Russian state commission, scheduled for the end of July.
"If the appraiser gives us a preliminary cost we might use it during the talks, but we don't want to go in details to avoid any misunderstanding," he said and added that the evaluation results of Ukrainian gas transportation system should not influence the negations.
Baker Tilly Ukraine was declared the winner of a tender to assess the value of the Ukrainian gas transport system, and it wanted UAH 4.1 million to be paid for this service.
