The establishment of the social justice, namely narrowing of the gap between the rich and the poor, including the step of creation of jobs with decent wages, is one of the objectives of the government, the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during a meeting with the candidates for the heads of district state administrations, ForUm learned from the President’s press office.
"We need to narrow the enormous gap that exists between the rich and the poor. We should meet the needs of the poor by creating the conditions of work for healthy people, and providing reliable social protection for the disabled," the President stressed.
Yanukovych expressed his belief that every citizen should be able to earn enough money for decent life, family welfare and education of children. "You will face a very difficult task - to create such conditions for everyone," he said, addressing the candidates for the heads of district state administrations.
