From July 1, 2012 the pensions for 610 thousand military pensioners will be increased. The increase is gradual, divided into three stages, deputy minister for social policy Vyacheslav Kolomiets told the press, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The Cabinet has already issued a corresponding decree. Now the relevant agency is processing all necessary documents for the Pension Fund to start recalculations from July 1," the official said.
The deputy minister specified that from July 1 the pensions will be increased by 10%, from September 1 - by another 10% and from January 1, 2013 - by another 10.5%, making it in total by 30.5%.
