Ukraine is a very tolerant and democratic country, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov told in the interview to CNN, ForUm learned from the Cabinet’s press office.
"There is no racism in Ukraine. A lot of black players play in our football teams. Tens of thousand of black students from Africa study in our universities and nobody has ever complained about racism," Azarov said.
The Prime Minister mentioned that recently a campaign of completely unfounded accusations of racism, based on false facts and misinformation, is being carried out against Ukraine. In its turn, the Ukrainian authorities firmly react to every incident of racial intolerance.
