A new concert hall may soon appear in Kyiv, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said meeting the opera singers, as ForUm correspondent reported.
“Let’s think about the prospect of the new concert hall construction. I promise to give the respective instructions,” he said.
Azarov noted that the location of the new hall needs thorough consideration, however its construction may begin in the next years. “The construction may begin in 2013-2014. As we have succeeded in financing Euro 2012, I believe we would be able to finance our culture as well,” the prime Minister said.
According to him, the performance capability of the new concert hall will allow world famous opera singers giving concerts.
