"It is still too early to talk about specific individuals. But I want to assure you that there is a very intensive dialogue between the Ukrainian Prime Minister and President of the European Parliament on the issue. This interaction is productive, effective and constructive," Yeliseyev noted.
He said the Ukrainian side is interested in an independent, transparent and objective observation over the cassation appeal in the case of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
As reported, on May 16, European Parliament President Schulz, during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Azarov in Brussels, took the initiative to send to Ukraine from the EU legislative body European doctors and lawyers to provide assistance to Tymoshenko.
In turn, the Ukrainian side said it was ready to contribute to the European Parliament's initiative to send to Ukraine European doctors and lawyers to provide assistance to former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, subject to observance of the national legislation.
