The European Union intends to finance exit-polls during the elections of people's deputies, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule said Tuesday.

"EU representative office in Kyiv has already started to coordinate actions with EU missions heads on observers' training or financing exit-polls, which played an important role in the estimation of previous elections, namely the elections of 2004," he said.

Fule underlined that EU representative office in Ukraine is closely following the key events, being held by Central Election Commission in Ukraine. According to the official, the projects under consideration include assistance in media-monitoring and analysis of party marketing.
