Two Ukrainian plants - Hadiachsyr and Prometey received permission to resume cheese supply to Russia by results of laboratory tests, held by Rospotrebnadzor, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko said, UKRINFORM reports.

“Three out of seven samples of batches from Prometey Plant did not satisfy us. We will not give permission for their import to Russia. Those are approximately 37 tons. For other 11 batches, four from Prometey Plant and seven from Hadiachsyr received permission for realization,” he has said.

According to him, the sanitary service completed an expertise of 14 samples of cheese from the plants Hadiachsyr and PE Prometey of the Mensky branch.

Answering a question about when supplies of cheese may start from Hadiachsyr and Prometey plants, Onishchenko said “Let them bring it.”

“All cheese samples from those two enterprises, which we allow to Russia, are permitted according to the lower standard, primarily, by their fat-acid component. We warn all those who will import that supervision will continue over next batches,” he said.

The Rospotrebnadzor Chief said that his specialists hold laboratory tests of samples of products from another two Ukrainian plants - Dubnomoloko and Puriatyn Chese Factory, which intend to supply products to Russia.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor stated that it may permit supply of cheese, following the laboratory control, from four Ukrainian plants - LLC Hadiachsyr, JSC Puriatyn Cheese Factory, PE Prometey of the Mensky branch and Dubnomoloko.
