Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite's office says she will attempt to visit former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko in a hospital in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on May 11.
If Grybauskaite is allowed to visit Tymoshenko, she will become the first foreign leader to see her since she was convicted in October 2011.
Grybauskaite is also scheduled to meet with Yanukovych in Kyiv on May 11, together with a small group of east European leaders.
