The Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Council establishment would promote economic cooperation between Ukraine and Jordan, President Viktor Yanukovych said at today’s Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Forum in Amman, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"An effective mechanism to intensify economic cooperation between Ukraine and Jordan could become the Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Council, and in the future – the Ukrainian-Jordanian Trading House that would be a platform for our countries’ businessmen to communicate and exchange experience regularly," he said.
Viktor Yanukovych expressed his hope that already after this forum, the interests of Jordanian businessmen in Ukraine will expand. "I hope the economic potential of our countries and the friendly relations between the peoples of Ukraine and Jordan would provide the foundation necessary for developing more effective and mutually beneficial economic cooperation," he said.
Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych said, will make every effort to implement the agreements reached during the present visit of the President of Ukraine to Jordan and at today’s Business Forum.
"I believe that based on mutual trust and significant potential of cooperation we can bring bilateral relations between Ukraine and Jordan to a new level," summed up the Ukrainian Head of State.
