Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has turned down treatment in Central Clinical Hospital of Kharkiv, which belongs to the State Railway Administration of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsia), according to the letter by Tymoshenko read out by her daughter, Yevhenia Tymoshenko.

"Almost every day in the Kachanivska prison, and now the Ukrzaliznytsia hospital, there are press conferences, briefings, excursions, presentations of new furniture and "open doors". Millions of people are suffering because they can’t afford medicine for themselves or their children, or medical care for their terminally ill relatives, while you organize demonstrations of luxury in prisons and hospitals for the sake of PR.

That is why I categorically refuse to accept the artificial conditions created in the Ukrzaliznytsia hospital and insist that all this be used to treat sick children. As for my treatment, please follow the recommendations of the independent physicians and decision of the European Court of Human Rights," the letter says, Tymoshenko's official website reports.
