Jailed ex-premier of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has been given permission for a short meeting with representatives of non-governmental organization Freedom house, acting head of the State Penitentiary Service in Kharkiv region Evgen Barash informed.
"Yulia Volodymyrivna (Tymoshenko-ed.) wrote an application, and a permission for a meeting has been granted," the official told journalists on Wednesday.
As reported, yesterday, April 3, representatives of non-governmental organization Freedom House visited Lukianivske detention facility. They were also given permission to meet with former Interior Minister Yuri Lutsenko.
Earlier Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka promised to assist Freedom House representatives in visiting Yuri Lutsenko and Yulia Tymoshenko.
