The world's largest international tourism exhibition, International Tourism Week - ITW 2012, gets underway in Berlin to last till March 11, involving a Ukrainian delegation.
"The 46th ITW exhibition is attended by more than 10,600 exhibitors from 187 countries, including Ukraine," the ITW press office said in a statement, UKRINFORM reports.
This year's partner of the Berlin tourism fair is Egypt. Last year, the ITW was attended by 170,000 people.
According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Germany, at the exhibition Ukraine will focus on the presentation of the EURO 2012 host cities. The official opening of the national stand will take place on Wednesday with representatives of the Ukrainian State Agency for Tourism and Resorts and city halls of Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Odesa, as well as the administration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
