The government continues the policy of strict limitation of expenses for maintenance of the state governing bodies, ForUm learned from the Cabinet's press office.

In particular, on March 5 the Cabinet prolonged the ban on purchasing expensive cars for state officials at the expense of budget means till 2014. The ban concerns ministries and their relevant departments, as well as all other state institutions.

The Cabinet's resolution also extended the ban on purchasing furniture, laptops and mobiles and on holding office remodeling at the expense of means from common and special funds of the state budget. Any attempts to violate 'the rule of tight saving' will lead to responsibility, Cabinet's press office reported.
