Leader of the Party of regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov has confirmed that Petro Poroshenko has been appointed as Ukraine's economic development and trade minister and Yuri Kolobov as finance minister, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This is official information. These officials have been appointed and already started performing their duties," the MP informed.
Yesterday, president Viktor Yanukovych dismissed Valeriy Khoroshkovsky from the post of finance minister and appointed him to the position of first vice prime minister of Ukraine.
On February 14, the president dismissed Andriy Kliuyev from the post of first vice prime minister of Ukraine and economy minister and appointed him as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.
