Education Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk signed an order to ban sales and use of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products in all educational institutions, ForUm learned from the press office of the Ministry.
The order obliges the heads of educational institutions of all levels of accreditation to take necessary measure to ban sales and use of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products in premises and on the territory of educational institutions; to initiate early termination of contracts with business entities, which carry out trade of such products in unauthorized by law places.
The heads of educational institutions are also charged with holding explanatory work among pupils, students and cadets regarding the responsibility for drinking beer and other alcoholic drinks.
In case of violations the order provides for administrative responsibility of offenders and personal responsibility of heads of educational institutions.
