President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych declares that in 2012 the administrative reform will be continued.
"The quality of the state service, honesty of officials and humanity in relations with citizens is the top issue. Last year we adopted a new legislation which would help to overcome corruption in the administrative system," the President said in his speech at the opening of the session of the parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.
Yanukovych reminded that at the beginning of this year he approved the new strategy of state staff policy till 2020, as well as new regulations of hiring state officials.
The Head of State also underlined that in 2012 the administrative reform will be continued. "The main task is to reduce administrative staff of central executive power and to improve discipline and service quality at local regional level," he declared.
