The file sharing website Ex.ua restored its work in the early hours of February 3. In particular, access to it is open in Kyiv.
According to the information of the Ex.ua administration on Facebook, the resource is functioning partially, not all the content is available, and restoration work is continuing, UKRINFORM reports.
As reported, on January 31, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry distributed information about closure of the Ex.ua file hosting service within the criminal investigation into infringement of intellectual property rights.
Despite the Ex.ua administration's request not to make attacks on the websites of state institutions after the close of the sharing service, some official sites of state agencies were blocked. In particular, the portals of the Security Service, the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Penitentiary Service, the Constitutional Court and the Interior Ministry were not working or working intermittently on Thursday.
February 2, the interior ministry withdrew its requirement for blocking the domain Ex.ua. After that, the registrar company Imena.UA unlocked it.
