During Euro-2012 matches period passenger flow through Ukrainian airports will increase by three or four times, official of the State Customs Service Volodymyr Karas' told an extended meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Karas', 32 border crossing points with officials in new uniform will meet visitors for Euro-2012. Customs control service is now working on the new control procedure to reduce the time for passengers to pass the border control.
According to head of the border control department Oleksandr Bankovski, the control office wants to use a pre-informing practice, when a country of departure sends information about tourists to Ukrainian border control officials, which would allow reducing the time spent for border passing procedure to 20 seconds per each passenger.
