To be ready for possible extremely low temperatures in the country and to respond the situation Prime Minister of Ukraine has formed a governmental critical incident response group (CIR), ForUm correspondent reports.

"Meteorologists warn about cold snap on the whole territory of the country. Taking into account the worn-out state of heat and water pipelines, as well as previous bitter experience of incidents during cold weather, we must be ready this time to face the risks armed at all points," Azarov told a session of the Cabinet.

In this connection the Pm ordered to form a governmental CIR group headed by Minister for regional development and housing services Anatoly Blyznyuk. The composition of the group also includes Energy Minister Yuri Boiko, Emergency Situations Minister Viktor Baloha and Defense Minister Mykhailo Yezhel. According to Azarov, during low temperature periods the group must work 24 hours.
