Drugged driver of Nissan Tiida, responsible for mass traffic accident with 11 victims in Luhanks has been arrested. A court of Luhansk decreed on January 16 to keep the offender in custody.
According to press secretary of the Luhansk department of Interior Ministry Tetyana Pogukai, the suspect will be held in custody for the whole period of investigation.
As a reminder, one girl was killed and other 10 people were injured as a driver who used psychoactive substances crashed into a crowd enjoying public festivity of Old New Year on one of the squares of the Ukrainian city of Luhansk. A criminal case was opened against the driver. He may be put behind bars for up to eight years.
