MP Roman Zabzalyik has left BYuT faction, speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn informed the plenary session of the parliament but did not name the reason of such decision, ForUm correspondent reports.

Roman Zabzalyuk used to take active part in the faction's life, was one of the MPs of inner circle close to Yulia Tymoshenko herself. Leaving of Zabzalyuk has become a shock for his colleagues, and majority of BYuT deputies refuse to comment on the situation.

Former faction head Ivan Kyrylenko told journalsits that speaker's announcement was a surprise for him. "Zabzalyuk is a serious man. I still cannot believe he has left. May be it is some kind of mistake," he said. Kyrylenko also doubted that Zabzalyuk's leaving is connected with the change of leadership in the faction.

As a reminder, Andriy Kozhemiakin was elected recently for the post of the head of the BYuT faction replacing Ivan Kyrylenko, who went to work in election campaign HQ.

Kyrylenko also confirmed information on Zabzalyuks sickness. "When people are sick they don't publicize this information. But Zabzalyuk does have problems with his health. You know he did not have easy life - army, Afghanistan," he added.

Roman Zabzalyuk is not present in the parliament and is not answering phone calls.

Current faction leader Andriy Kozhemiakin says he has little information on the situation. He also informed that Zabzalyuk has been on sick leave for two weeks. "When he returns from the treatment he will give you all necessary information," Kozhemiakin told journalists.
