Ukraine considers taking part in the implementation of infrastructure projects in Asia promising, President Viktor Yanukovych said at a press conference following Ukrainian-Tajik talks, ForUm learned from the presidential press office.
"We are considering our cooperation with Tajikistan in both bilateral and multilateral plane, which will promote the use of potential that Ukraine has," he said. The President noted that Ukraine is ready to participate in the implementation of projects to construct roads, railways, transportation infrastructure, power stations, power lines, gas and oil pipelines in Tajikistan.
In addition, he said, Ukraine and Tajikistan have significant potential to cooperate in agriculture. "We intend to work by a joint program in third countries, including the creation of joint ventures in processing agricultural products, growing crops using the equipment produced in Ukraine," said Viktor Yanukovych.
