The document on ratification of the free trade agreement with CIS countries has not been delivered to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine yet, speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The document has not arrived yet. We have already discussed this (with Russian speaker Valentina Matvienko- ed.). It would be perfect if all the participants of the free trade agreement signed the document on the same day. I am sure the Ukrainian side will admit economic benefits for the country from this agreement," he said.

The free trade agreement was signed on October 18 by Prime Ministers of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, Moldova and Kirghizia.

Ukraine's PM Azarov expects the agreement to come into force on January 2012.
