The government intends to increase social payments to families with children, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov told today's Cabinet session, ForUm correspondent reports.

"The government is to consider today the amendments to the order of state support to families with children and low-income families. In particular, it is planned to provide social payments for single mothers, whose children upon the attainment of the age of 18 study in school. It is also planned to provide social payments for a mother of a farther in case of death of one of the parents and if the parents were not officially married," the PM specified.

Azarov added that the payment of social state support to low-income families will also include children, who continue study after 18 years old. In addition, the social support for persons taking care of disabled of II group with mental disorder will not be cancelled.
