The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ahs registered a governmental draft bill on amendments to the law on preschool education.
According to the draft bill, parents will have a right to choose the language of education for their children in kindergartens.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers' draft bill says "...to meet national, cultural and linguistic needs of citizens to open new kindergartens, which will provide education in national or other languages. The right to choose the language of education is granted to parents."
