Ukraine and the European Union plan to finish all political negotiations on the free trade area and Association agreement by December 19, deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Viktor Maiko told a press conference.
"The agreement on the free trade area is included into the Association agreement. The negotiation process on free trade area is totally settled, and the last visit of Kliuyyev (economy minister - ed.) to Brussels put a period to this matter," he said.
According to Maiko, all inconsistencies were removed during the latest round of talks and "we are waiting for political decisions." "Summit Ukraine-EU will take place December 19 and by this date all political talks must be finished and the results of the two-year activity must be announced," he declared.
