Systemic reform of the criminal procedure legislation that is going on in Ukraine brings our country closer to European standards, President Yanukovych said in an interview to Euronews today.
"We are doing it the context of European integration, but we are doing it for ourselves. We understand that the standards need to be changed," he said.
Among other topics brought up during the interview were European integration of Ukraine, Yulia Tymoshenko’s case, etc.
The Interview will be aired by Euronews at 20:00 on Tuesday, October 18.
