Emergency Ministry of Ukraine will reduce the number of regulations of fire safety to minimum, Yan Bernazyuk, emergency minister assistant told a briefing, ForUm's correspondent reported.
In particular, Bernazyuk voiced the position of Minister Viktor Baloha to keep only 10 principal regulations; other 100 regulations will be removed or turned into recommendations.
"These simplifications will reduce the receipt of funds. However, the work of the department should not be carried out at the expense of entrepreneurs. We expect sufficient financing from the state," he underlined.
According to the official, regular inspections will remain obligatory for facilities of higher fire safety, as well as for schools, kindergartens and hospitals. "Inspectors, who abuse their power, will be severely punished," Bernazyuk summed up.
